Pasarbella (The Grandstand)

(this post is scheduled because i shld be at work at the time u are reading this fml)

The only things I do with yl now revolve around sleeping and eating. And going to sunday service and buying NS stuff lol

I try to work as much as I can when he's inside otherwise I get rly bored and then it becomes loneliness u know

But anyway he's sooooo busy sometimes he only has like few "free" hours to spare out of camp ... so time is very tight for us hais we end up going to places as nearby as possible to save time, otherwise all we do is to sleep because he is tired 24/7 even outside hais x2

During one of this short bookouts again (i think its vesak day like 2 weeks back??) we went to The Grandstand at Turf City! We had to rush also so we left the place in like less than 2-3 hours lol fml :-(

The only thing I remember from that day is that it was very warm. very very warm.

The reason why we went there was because I wanted to try Maison Kayser's brunch menu so I googled their list of outlets and turf city was the closest mah. Didn't want to travel to town..... which was such a stupid decision

When i reached there drenched in perspiration (hahahahaha CHEY sounds so gross i just wna say it was very hot lah!!!!!!) the server told me that this is the only outlet which doesnt serve brunch?!

walao ehhhh so irritatedddd

I was gg thru a croissant phase (LOL WTH) so i was rly upset i couldnt try their egg croissant sandwich lol fml

Then i couldnt leave empty handed mah die also must try something so i got their normal croissant instead

Reviews online were quite good saying what "best bakery" blah blah blah so of course i had expectations

MEH it was sooooo normal like it wasnt even warm leh even BreadTalk serves me warm croissants??? Lol

So turned off by my room temperature croissant lol M&S sells better croissants (but then again i always get theirs fresh out of the oven so maybe there is comparative advantage lololol)

STILL the croissant was not as fluffy as i imagined it would be lor

Because we didn't get to eat a meal we just went into this DIO burger shop like beside the bakery

Lol can u see the TV on the top left hand corner..... yl was watching the cartoon through out the meal

Anyway we got similar burgers la basically u just choose your bun + patty + toppings

I think he got it with brioche/bacon while I got wholemeal/onions. SIDETRACK i love 大葱 (white onion is it) u guys!!!!! do u all like it too?!

But the burgers were okay... like not rly nice at all lol they also have like a salsa station (a bit like Carls Jr) but i dont like salsa so meh

OK ANYWAY!!!!!!! Now to my favourite part: PASARBELLA!!!!!

Im sooooooooo regretful that i didnt go into pasarbella before eating..... i mean i heard a lot of raves abt that place but i thought oh i will just walk one round of something inside later

like come friggin on yuki lol

If u like wine u shld defo go pay a visit!!! They sell a looooooot of wine but i dont rly drink so idk much abt it also

Their organic "supermart"!!! It works a bit like farmers' market u know?? Omg i was in heaven

I saw reviews saying they have the best roasted pork ever but i dont appreciate 烧肉 leh. There was a queue too so u guys can go try if u like!!!

Bummed out when i see bakeries like this like what the heck is left for me to buy :-(

Now for the star of the show....... seafood paella!!!!! It looked so friggin goooooood i wna go back and eat it so bad but i havent been able to find time fml

Yl and I were alrdy full that time so we didnt try T_______T

if u all get the chance to go pls tell me if its as nice as it looks. I heard they sell out rly early in the night sian.....
