(OMG ITS ALR APRIL U GUYS???? can u believe it!)

LMAO my mum walked in my room and saw me blogging w photos and she exclaimed huh 这个不是 taiwan meh??? 你现在才来写啊?!

ok anyway HI! This is about my Taipei trip last Dec!

Omg I was quite nervous because I've never been so chincai about a trip before LOL we went without an itinerary

I barely managed to finish packing my luggage few hours before the flight at midnight, because I only bought the stuff I needed in the same day hahahahaha wtf

But more than that I think I was most ganchiong about flying alone lah ive never flown all by myself before huhuhu new experience

Actually now that i think of it not that big diff la just that the stranger beside u will be much more significant LOLOL

So anyway luckily papa mama sent me there with my superglueeeeee so i dont need to die in my own anxiety alone otw there wtf

DAY 1

Anyway I already checked in online so I just went to look for the bag drop counter

I'm flying to Taiwan on Cathay, with a transit in HK

Wah this is the start of the real deal man. When I cleared the checkpoint into Departures I was quite nervous alr bcos its my first time in there alone wtf

I didn't lose my way!!!!! In the plane now!!!!

Lol jk how to lose the way when the queue at the gate was SO DAMN LONG

Both of my flights were delayed actually wtf so next time i dunno if i wna fly Cathay again >:(

My midnight snack.

However FML i fell asleep while they were serving it and only woke up when we were about to disembark..

So end up I couldnt eat it! Because I had to fast for 8h before my surgery.

AIYO i almost died from hunger LOL i had dinner early on the day before too!!!! Bcos too busy packing my life away.

I stole a few fruits to munch on tho bcos #loser

Finally found it after walking damn long WTF. Cleared security checks again and woohooo lezzz go wait for flight round #2

ALSO MET WITH JO AT DEPARTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a short while then we had to leave for our gates alr. We taking different flights mah fol

Omg my flight was at a separate friggin terminal u guys????????????

I kept walking travelators after travelators but 就是 havent reach

Btw if you watch my vlog you can hear their travelators LOL NOISIEST TRAVELATORS IVE EVER BEEN ON

They will non stop tell you to mind your step and hold on to the handrail!!!!!

I appreciate the thought but when you walk through 10 travelators and hear that same warning every 3 seconds then all you want is for that person to shut up

Can see more ppl alr? Getting closer to the centre of the airport i think wtf

WA THIS IS WHERE THE DUTY FREE SHOPPPING TAKES PLACE LA!!!!!!!!

But also no time to go shop la need to find my gate wtf :-'(

I went down the escalator and went through a long passage/walkway until I finally saw this sign wtf. My gate was no. 500+

Neh then you go queue at this bus stop to go to the terminal

FINALLY here and waiting omg

Took me quite some time la no joke so if yall have a transfer flight at gates no.500+ then u all dont waste time chop chop go find your way there first ok hahaha

But i brought it down the plane anyway.... if not very waste leh!

I thought I was gonna get asked to throw this away at security check but they didn't make me do that?!

So end up i kept this in my bag and that sandwich became my post-surgery food LOL

Quickly had to get food in my system mah! Jo also another crazy one she herself bought breads to standby for me in case I faint aftr surgery WTF

We are buying bus tickets to Taipei now and both of us also nvr take before lor omg suaku.

The previous time I came to Taiwan I took a car to Taipei but actually the bus is SO much cheaper la u guys

Sorry I cant rmb how much, i THINK it was NTD125. So about SGD6 is it?

Next time i come to Taipei I will take this bus again bcos the journey was very comfortable also!!

Dont worry ok! We also thought maybe will be damn budget one but no la the bus very spacious!

So can take one dont waste $! Just ask the uncle which is the stop to alight for Taipei main station. Usually a lot ppl alight de la u just follow lol

WE ASKED A FELLOW TOURIST TO TAKE PIC FOR US AND we got the bus auntie angry bcos take photo waste time mah but the tourist very steady also LOLOL

Nah see, you tell him where you want to alight right then he will put your luggage in the according stop.

So when they are at that stop they will only open that compartment to take luggage!

We actually alighted too early the first time then when we climbed down we realised eh our luggage slot not open yet. So we went back into the bus HAAHAHAHA

So yall dont need worry been there done that lololol

SO EXCITED IN TAIPEI

Neh see got space to put drinks also wtf

Actually the bus that we took to return to Taipei airport right got TV somemore leh!

We dk how to use la but still wtf

REACHED TAIPEI STATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

The bus stops OUTSIDE the station FYI so you need to walk in yourself la dont have so good alight liao immediately inside the station hor

We went to the info counter to ask for the way to our hotel and we got quite confused for awhile fol

Anyway we eventually found it later la

Basically you just find which part of the station its closest to (Taipei main station has A LOTTTT OF SECTIONS. not kidding), then exit no

For us its Taipei 地下街, exit Y13

They got a lot hor got exits start with Z one and some sections are not in yellow but different colour so you really need to get yourself tgt and find the correct exit lolol

Wrong then you walk back in and find again la hor LOL

Wah Taipei streets. Now that im writing this post 4 months later I miss Taipei again boohoooo

They have a 7-11 or Family Mart like almost anywhere la so jealous right

And their 7-11 is sell legit stuff de ok not like ours

FINALLY FOUND IT

If you're staying the same hotel as us, its at the junction of the 7-11

This is the hotel lobby... pantry area? Idk bcos Ive never come out here to take stuff but i think theres hot water, microwave etc?

Paiseh damn messy liao HAHA bcos we only checked into our room after my surgery (I did another full post on my surgery here) at evening time then once we went in immediately throw everything alr lol

DAY 2

GOOD MORNING TAIPEI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On our way to the train station and there's this shop that sells a lot of barang like these kind one

actually everyday we had to walk damn long to the MRT itself sia wtf still need take lift all

through the underground walkways its convenient but its not near. geddit??

Lol this shop became what we recognise to know our way home hahahahaha wtf beside the lift is right in front this shop

The other time I came to Taipei i didnt buy the card but instead bought single tickets for all of our trips WTF

SO STUPID

Pls go and buy the card ok? I think you can buy it from the airport and 7-11s probably? Bcos 7-11s have everything there

I got mine from YL's last trip there so I just top up for my usage lor.

When you are flying back you can return the card for your deposit money actually!

But i didn't bother bcos i foresee more trips to Taiwan anyway hahahahaha HOPEFULLY

In Taipei EVERYONE QUEUES

Its so nice bcos they have these queue lines etc!

Actually ive seen these lines recently at JE but idk if they'll be as effective once the train comes into the platform la lol

They take the reserved seats (called 博爱座 there) damn seriously too

The famous 阿毛 restaurant!! Wow so amazing hor the last time I came to TW I was still not over my dog phobia but now I can actually stop and take photo wtf

We passed by here several times on separate days actually (bcos its not hard to miss) and sometimes they have this thing pasted LOLOL

To translate it says keep your hands off the dog who is feeling moody

We only managed to bump into him ONCE

Shopping in XMD!

Actually things in XMD are generally more ex than what you get from other night markets so I suggest if you buy things here right buy those that are worth the quality!

If not u probably can get the stuff from other places cheaper anyway

When its closer to late evening/night time right then all these vendors will start their businesses

In TW there's hardly anything thats not yum la so if ur stomach have space then DONT THINK ALR

We took the train to Houshanpi station to go to Wufenpu and Raohe night market!

Once again very useful for me to recognise my way around lol

Basically Wufenpu is like Bugis St but a whole other level. The sheer amt of clothes will 吓死你

Can see right? Almost every shop has their clothes in these big ass plastic bags for you to dig wtf

Actually I nvr dig before la bcos paiseh ma go mess it up but I think thats what you're supposed to do to find the good stuff

Wufenpu is mainly meant for like say online shop owners actually bcos they can buy their clothes from here cheaply at manufactured price (provided you buy in bulk)

Anyway this time we barely spent half an hour in Wufenpu? Then we left alr lol

Maybe bcos its night time so its not as crowded le then we damn lazy to continue shopping for clothes also

If you're taking the train (火车) instead of MRT, you alight at Songshan station instead its much closer

Once you see the watsons then you're near alr!

Raohe market is damn obvious one anyway they have a entrance and exit like that ^ unlike some other night markets so you can hardly miss it

It's beside a temple if i rmb correctly!

But i had it once and tbh it wasnt even that amazing. The one selling below my hotel was way nicer!

Later i will talk about it. They were so good originally I even wanted to buy them home but they didnt sell them cold so I dont think I can bring it back to SG la NOOOOOO :-(
